I am always a little apprehensive about shooting photos at a new location that I haven’t had a chance to check out beforehand. This was the case when I was asked to do an engagement session in Winter Garden. I’ve always had success walking around and finding photo spots in new locations, so I knew we would find some “okay” spots at the very least, but my Google Image searches beforehand did not give me any indication just how wonderful the location would be for photos.
I met the two lovely ladies downtown on a cool breezy March day, and they let me take the lead on where we took photos. I saw what looked like a main street a little ways down from where we were, so I led the way and found a beautiful plaza with a fountain. This is where we began our photos, and the photo spots only got better from here!
The couple had brought a book as a prop, and we had no issues incorporating that into our photos.
Soon, we moved on from the plaza and used a tree-lined path as our next photo spot.
To my delight, we continued down the path and found that the trees in this area were wrapped with lights.
Then we wanted to take some shots highlighting their rings.
For our final spot, they wanted a few photos with more of a grungy feel, so we found an alley that worked well for this.
